The MVX 88 VGA A is designed to route high resolution computer-video and stereo audio signals. Convenient 15-pin HD connectors are used for all computer-video input and output connections. Unbalanced stereo audio is input on 3.5 mm stereo mini jacks, while balanced or unbalanced stereo audio is output on captive screw connectors. Using pre-terminated cable assemblies, such as Extron's VGA with Audio Cables, eliminates crimping and makes installations faster and easier.

In addition, the MVX 88 VGA A comes standard with the QS-FPC™ - QuickSwitch Front Panel Controller, which allows for touch-of-a-button input and output selection directly from the front panel. It can also be controlled through RS-232 serial control utilizing Extron's SIS™ - Simple Instruction Set commands, the optional Extron IR 501 remote control, the optional Extron MKP 2000 or MKP 3000 X-Y remote control panels, or via a third party control system.

The Extron P/2 DA2xi is a one input, two output, high resolution VGA-QXGA distribution amplifier that’s ideal for use in dual-display presentation systems or anywhere that a single, high resolution VGA signal needs to be routed to two displays. Housed in a compact, durable metal enclosure, the P/2 DA2xi can be easily installed in small, tight places. It’s even portable enough to fit into a briefcase for presenters on-the-go.

The P/2 DA2xi offers 350 MHz (-3 dB) RGB video bandwidth and is compatible with VGA-QXGA graphic cards, monitors, and projectors. Video gain and peaking levels are DIP switch selectable, and both sync input and output impedance can be set for optimum compatibility with laptop computers. Utilizing an optional VersaTools® or Universal Rack Shelf Kit, the P/2 DA2xi can be rack- mounted alone or with up to three other quarter-rack width A/V products. The P/2 DA2xi can also be mounted under a desk or next to a projector with an Extron PMK Series or MBU Series mount kit.

The Extron SW VGA Series are active switchers utilizing 15-pin HD connectors. There are six switchers in the series. The SW2 VGArs, SW4 VGArs, and SW6 VGArs are two, four, and six input, one output switchers that allow multiple VGA-QXGA computer inputs to be switched to one compatible display. The SW2 VGA Ars, SW4 VGA Ars, and SW6 VGA Ars are also two, four, and six input, one output VGA and audio switchers, but also include several audio features such as active PC audio interfacing which accepts unbalanced computer-generated stereo audio input signals on 3.5 mm stereo mini jacks and outputs balanced line level stereo audio on a captive screw connector.

The SW VGA switchers are user-configurable for manual or autoswitching modes. The autoswitch function can be enabled or disabled via the front panel buttons. Autoswitching allows any input of the switcher to be selected automatically when the switcher detects a sync signal. The 9-pin female D connector enables RS-232 control, as well as contact closure control, and is compatible with the Extron KP 6 Keypad Remote Control and the Extron IR 102 Kit IR remote. All of the SW VGA models are 1U, half rack width metal enclosures that will fit into an optional Extron 1U Universal Rack Shelf Kit.
